Sarah and John Lloyd’s third movie – It Takes a Man and a Woman will be out in more than 100 theaters nationwide on Black Saturday, March 30 in line with Viva Films.
The movie will be shown on March 30, 2013 after being delayed several times as it was announced in mid-2011. Vic del Rosario, head of Viva Entertainment, confirmed the date to ABS-CBN News during the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the entertainment production company.
Prior to this movie, the first two films highlighting the charisma of the two ABS-CBN’s talent as love team proved that they can still create another hit movie as co-produced by Viva Films and ABS-CBN film production outfit Star Cinema.
On the contrary, Iza Calzado was expected to co-star in the first two sequel “A Very Special Love” and “You Changed My Life”. The Kapamilya actress had disclosed that she will no longer be a part of the film due to conflict in appointments.
Both stars detailed that the movie will be set three years after the second entry series.
“May konting lapse pero hindi malinaw kung gaano katagal. Ang alam ko, three years mula “A Very Special Love.” Basta may time lapse and sa simula ng storya, doon niyo makikita kung ano ang pagbabago,” stated Cruz.
“Sa bawat relationship naman, laging may changes ‘di ba? Ito may time lapse so makikita natin kung ano ang pagbabago kay Laida at sa relationship nila,” the singer-actress added.
With the success of the sequel as being among the top five highest-grossing local films of all time, “It Takes a Man and a Woman” is expected to replicate or overtake the success of the first two.
