The Nintendo 2DS systems are now available on DataBlitz stores for a price of Php 6,995. The Nintendo 2DS is an entry-level handheld system that was announced way back August 30th. The new console features a slate-like design rather than the clamshell seen on DS and 3DS models and is marketed to younger consumers.

The 2DS is fully compatible with all 3DS and DS games but does not include the ability to display games in 3D. In simpler terms, it has all the functionality of a 3DS without the 3D display.

The Nintendo 2DS comes in Crimson Red and Electric Blue and also includes the following:

  1. Nintendo 2DS unit
  2. AC Adapter (not sure about the voltage)
  3. Stylus
  4. 4GB SDHC Memory Card
  5. 6 Augmented Reality (AR) Cards

In the US the original price of the system is for only 129 USD or around 5,500 pesos and I think the DataBlitz unit is overpriced. By adding a few more bucks, you can get the Nintendo 3DS XL priced at 9,000 pesos.
