PBA Player Chris Tiu has already forgone his bachelor years as he was tagged in a tabloid report that he had gotten married in Canada last month.
Every lady’s dream to be with this charismatic man would probably remain a fantasy. The rain or Shine rookie guard has apparently married to his high school sweetheart in Canada last month, in a report by Tempo quoting an anonymous source.
“She’s the one and only GF of Chris since high school,” said the source.
Last Sunday was supposedly the belated wedding party of the couple in Makati and was also put under wraps and only close family members and friends were invited in the affair. ROS co-owners Raymond Yu and Terry, along with coach Yeng Guiao, were said to be present in the affair.
However, the only player seen in the party was Ty Tang, Tiu’s long-time buddy, since their glory days at Xavier and now a teammate at ROS.
Tiu refused to be interviewed about the subject when asked by the media. He said that he will address the issue after the PBA season is over.
Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao also turned down to comment on the issue, saying he is not qualified to talk about it because it is not related to the team.
Having said that Tiu traveled abroad to attend to some personal matters, he missed several games in the Governors’ Cup elimination round and the source said he had gotten married during that absence.
Meanwhile, Tiu is yet to comment about the issue.
